Moving Company Leads & Lead Generation

We generate moving company leads by running campaigns built for your company, so customers request a quote from you and only you. If you have bought shared moving leads before, you know the problem: the customer gets calls from many movers at once. We do not sell leads, and every inquiry from our campaigns stays yours.

  • Free 30-minute growth audit, no obligation
  • Plans from $1,000 a month, month to month
  • Reply to every request within 24 hours

Key takeaways

  • Your USDOT number appears in every ad and landing page, and brokers state clearly that they are brokers.
  • Interstate pages link the FMCSA booklet on customer rights and responsibilities when moving.
  • Quote forms ask for move date, origin, destination, home size and special items, so estimators can skip moves you do not handle.
01

The Trouble With Shared Moving Leads

Many moving lead sellers pass one request to several movers. Customers get flooded with calls and emails and often stop answering. Some leads have the wrong dates or are for moves you do not handle.

Shoppers are also wary. Moving scams get regular news coverage, and many people distrust sites that pass their details around. A customer who contacts your company directly, after seeing your trucks, reviews and USDOT number, starts with more trust.

02

Moving Company Lead Generation by Move Type

Each move type gets its own campaign, landing page and quote form.

  • Local Residential

Apartment and house moves within your metro. Fast quotes, clear hourly rates and weekend openings matter.

  • Long-Distance and Interstate

Higher-value moves that require FMCSA registration. Buyers compare estimates and reviews closely.

  • Commercial and Office

Planned moves with facility managers, won through both search and outreach.

  • Senior and Specialty Moves

Senior moves, pianos, antiques and storage, often referred by move managers and real estate agents.

03

FMCSA and Ad Rules for Movers

Interstate household goods movers must register with FMCSA and hold a USDOT number. Federal rules require movers to show that USDOT number in their ads, and household goods brokers must state that they are brokers. We add those details to every ad and landing page. If you only move within your state, your state's rules apply, and some states issue their own license numbers to display.

FMCSA also requires interstate movers to give customers the "Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move" booklet. We link it on interstate pages, which helps trust and keeps you in line.

04

Peak Season, Referrals and Channels

Moving demand peaks in summer, when school is out and leases turn over, and near the end of each month. We raise budgets ahead of peak weeks and pull back when your trucks are booked. Off-season campaigns can push weekday discounts.

Search ads catch people requesting quotes, and your Google Business Profile and reviews decide many local moves. Real estate agents, apartment managers and senior move managers can refer steady work, and we build simple referral pages for them. Our local lead generation service covers maps and listings. For paid search depth, see our moving company PPC page.

05

Quote Forms, Follow-Up and Consent

Forms ask for move date, origin, destination, home size and special items. That lets your estimators quote fast and skip moves you do not handle. Video surveys can follow for larger moves.

If you text or call customers with automated marketing messages, the TCPA requires prior express written consent. Our forms collect it in your company's name only, so customers know exactly who will contact them.

06

What Movers Pay Us, and What We Will Not Promise

Management starts at $1,000 a month, and setup is quoted up front. Ad spend is separate. Cost depends on your local versus long-distance focus, service area and season. We will not promise a set number of moving company leads or a fixed cost per booked move. We report quotes, booked moves and revenue by source. See our moving company marketing and lead generation services pages for more.
