Personal Injury Lead Generation

Many personal injury lead generation companies sell the same accident inquiry to several firms, or charge per signed case in ways your state bar may not allow. We take a different route. We run campaigns in your firm's name, the inquiries come to your intake team only, and you pay a flat management fee.

Key takeaways

  • Missed calls and after-hours inquiries are flagged, and recordings go to your intake manager with notice where state law requires it.
  • A named attorney at your firm approves every ad before it runs.
  • Intake forms collect the incident date and place, injuries, treatment, police involvement and any current lawyer.
01

How Most Personal Injury Leads Are Sold

Personal injury leads are some of the most expensive in legal marketing, and the market for them is crowded. Vendors sell shared leads, exclusive leads, live call transfers and aged leads that are weeks old. Some offer signed cases, which raises its own ethics questions.

Before you buy from anyone, ask a few questions. Where was the lead generated, and what did the ad say? Did the person agree to be contacted by your firm by name? Is the lead sold to anyone else? What happens when a lead is a duplicate or not an injury case at all?

We answer those questions differently because we do not sell leads. Your firm's name is on the ads and pages. The caller chose your firm, and the record lives in your case management system.

02

Bar Rules That Shape Personal Injury Lead Generation

Most states base their advertising rules on ABA Model Rules 7.1 to 7.3, with their own changes. Rule 7.1 bars false or misleading statements. Rule 7.2 bars paying anyone to recommend you, with narrow exceptions such as the reasonable cost of advertising. Its comments allow paying for lead generation if the vendor does not recommend the lawyer or split legal fees. The vendor's ads must not mislead either.

Rule 5.4 bars sharing legal fees with nonlawyers, which is why per-case or percentage pricing from a marketer is risky. Rule 7.3 limits live person-to-person solicitation, so cold calling accident victims is off the table. Paying people to steer injured people to a firm, often called running or capping, is illegal in many states.

State details vary. Some states, such as Florida and Texas, require many ads to be filed with the bar. Some also limit written contact with accident victims for a period after the incident. A named attorney at your firm approves every ad, and you remain responsible for your state's rules.

Channels for Injury Cases

We focus budget on the case types and counties you want, and we keep the message factual.

  • Google Search Ads

Car, truck, motorcycle and slip-and-fall searches by city. Clicks are costly, so tight targeting and strong intake matter.

  • Local Services Ads

Google's legal ads show a Google Screened badge after license and background checks. You pay per lead, not per click.

  • Practice Area and City Pages

Plain-language pages on what to do after a crash, how fees work and what your firm handles.

  • Spanish-Language Campaigns

Separate ads, pages and intake scripts for Spanish-speaking clients, if your team can serve them.

  • Referral and Review Programs

Review requests and past-client follow-up that stay within your state's rules on testimonials.

04

Intake Decides What an Inquiry Is Worth

A strong case lost to voicemail is a wasted ad dollar. We track every call and form and flag missed calls and after-hours inquiries. Call recordings go to your intake manager, with a notice to callers where state law requires it.

We build intake forms around the facts your attorneys need. That includes the date and place of the incident, injuries and treatment so far. It also asks whether police were called and whether the person already has a lawyer. Your attorneys decide which cases to accept. Text follow-up only goes to people who agreed to it, as the TCPA requires for marketing texts.

05

Flat Fees, Reporting and Our Limits

Personal injury campaigns start at $1,000 a month, and setup for tracking, intake forms and pages is quoted up front. Ad spend is billed separately, whether it runs on Google or elsewhere. We do not charge per signed case or take any share of your fees.

Cost depends on your case types, the counties you target and how competitive your market is. A firm chasing car accident cases across a large metro will spend far more than one focused on a single county.

We report inquiries, qualified leads, signed cases by source and cost per signed case, using data from your case management system. We will not promise a number of cases or a fixed cost per lead.

FAQ

Personal Injury Lead Generation Questions, Answered

Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Ask us anything else on the free audit call.

It depends on your state and on how the vendor works. Many states allow paying for leads if the vendor does not recommend you, does not share fees and does not mislead. Check your state bar's ethics opinions before you sign with any vendor.

A shared lead goes to several firms, so you race to call first. An exclusive lead goes to one firm, but you should still ask how it was generated. Campaigns run only for your firm are exclusive by design.

No. Per-case and percentage deals can run into fee-sharing rules. We charge a flat monthly fee, and you pay ad platforms directly.

Search ads and Local Services Ads can bring inquiries soon after launch and approval. Signed cases take longer, since intake and attorney review come first. Organic search builds over months.

We build forms, scripts and routing, but your firm or your intake service talks to potential clients. Attorney-client questions should go to your team. We can recommend call handling standards and track whether they are met.
