Supplement Marketing Agency
Our supplement marketing helps vitamin, protein, sports nutrition and wellness brands grow sales on their own sites, on Amazon and in retail. It is a crowded category, and the brands that last build trust with careful claims and repeat buyers. We plan ads, content, creator guidelines and retention around that.

Key takeaways
- A claim library of approved structure and function phrases keeps disease claims out of ads, pages and creator posts.
- Subscription offers state the price, frequency and how to cancel, as auto-renewal laws require.
- Before-and-after weight loss images and invented urgency are never used, since both get ads rejected.
Claims Come First: FDA, FTC and Platform Rules
Dietary supplements can make structure and function claims, such as supports joint health, but not disease claims, such as treats arthritis. Structure and function claims need the standard FDA disclaimer, and they must be truthful and supported. The FTC expects competent and reliable scientific evidence for health claims, and its 2022 Health Products Compliance Guidance explains what that means in practice.
Creator and review rules apply too. Under the FTC Endorsement Guides, paid creators must clearly disclose their connection to your brand. The FTC rule on fake reviews, in effect since late 2024, bans fake and bought reviews. If a testimonial shows unusual results, you need to make clear what buyers can generally expect.
Platforms are stricter still. Google bans some ingredients outright. Google and Meta both restrict misleading health and weight loss claims, and Meta rejects ads that play on negative self-image. Amazon has its own supplement policies, including testing documentation. We review every claim against these rules, and your regulatory advisor approves final copy.
Channels for Supplement Brands
Most brands start with two or three of these and add more as margins allow.
Your Own Store
Product pages with clear ingredient panels, dosing, third-party testing details and subscription options.
Amazon and Marketplaces
Listings, A+ content and Sponsored Products ads that follow Amazon's supplement and review rules.
Paid Social
Meta and TikTok ads built around benefits you can support, using your own creative and any creator content you supply, with clear disclosures.
Search and Shopping
Google Shopping and search ads for ingredient and need-based searches, within Google's health claim limits.
Affiliates and Creator Rules
Affiliate program setup with written disclosure rules and approved claim lists, including for creators and practitioners you already work with.
Subscriptions, Retention and Repeat Orders
Supplements are a repeat purchase, so much of the profit comes after the first order. We plan the first few months with care. A welcome flow explains how and when to take the product. A check-in goes out before the first bottle runs out. A subscription offer comes with easy pause and cancel options.
Subscriptions need clear terms. The federal Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act and many state auto-renewal laws require clear disclosure, consent and a simple way to cancel. We write offers and checkout copy that state the price, the frequency and how to cancel.
Email and text do most of this work. Our email marketing service builds flows in tools such as Klaviyo, with segments by product, purchase timing and subscription status. See our retention marketing service for the wider plan.
How We Work as Your Supplement Marketing Agency
Step 1: We review your products, claims, substantiation, margins and current channels, and flag claims that put ad accounts or your brand at risk. Step 2: We build a claim library of approved phrases your team and creators can use. Step 3: We launch tests on one or two paid channels, with creative built from those approved claims.
Step 4: We scale what works, add retention flows and expand to Amazon or retail support where it fits. Step 5: We report each month on new customer cost, repeat rate, subscription retention and contribution margin.
We do not write disease claims, use before-and-after weight loss images or invent urgency. Those shortcuts get ads rejected and can get accounts restricted.
Budget, Fees and Honest Limits
Programs start at $1,000 a month. Creative work, built from your assets, licensed stock or our own design, gets a fixed quote in writing. Ad spend is billed by us, apart from the program fee.
Cost depends on how many channels you run, your creative volume, the number of products and how much compliance review your claims need. We will not promise a target return on ad spend or viral creator content. We will tell you if your margins cannot support paid acquisition yet. This program is part of our digital marketing agency services, with testing support from our growth marketing service.

Some sleep and stress claims can be framed as structure or function claims, such as supports restful sleep. Claims that a product treats insomnia or anxiety are disease claims, which supplements cannot make. Your regulatory advisor makes the final call.
Yes. The FTC expects a clear disclosure of any material connection, including free products, payment or commissions. Platform labels for paid promotions help, but the disclosure should also be clear in the content itself.
It depends on your margins, your product and how much brand content you have. Amazon brings ready buyers but takes fees and limits your customer data. Your own site gives you the customer list for repeat sales. Many brands run both.
Common causes include health claims, before-and-after images, restricted ingredients and landing pages that say more than the ad. We audit the ad and the page together. Fixing the landing page often solves the problem.
Your product specs, labels, claim substantiation, margins and access to your ad and store accounts. Product photos and any brand footage you own help with creative. A named person on your side should approve claims quickly.
