Insurance Facebook Ads

We run insurance Facebook ads that bring quote requests straight to your agency, so you are not sharing every lead with five competitors. Many agents buy leads from vendors and race to call them first. Running your own ads costs more effort, but the leads are yours alone. We build the campaigns, forms, and follow-up flow to make that work.

Key takeaways

  • Medicare campaigns follow CMS marketing rules and lean on the Annual Enrollment Period rather than age targeting.
  • Lead forms carry TCPA consent wording that names your agency, and each lead's consent details travel to your CRM.
  • Agencies licensed in several states can run a separate campaign per state, each matching that state's ad rules.

Lines of Business We Run Ads For

Each line has a different buyer, season, and message. We usually start with the line that has the best margin or retention for your agency.

  • Personal Auto and Home

Bundle and quote comparison offers aimed at homeowners and drivers in the states where you are licensed.

  • Medicare

Education-led campaigns that follow CMS marketing rules, with extra focus around the Annual Enrollment Period, October 15 to December 7.

  • Health and ACA Plans

Campaigns timed to open enrollment and to special enrollment triggers such as a job change.

  • Life Insurance

Term and final expense campaigns built on simple explainer video and quote forms.

  • Commercial Lines

Niche campaigns for contractors, restaurants, trucking, and other business types you write.

How Meta Treats Insurance Ads

Meta places most insurance ads in its financial products and services special ad category, and homeowners insurance ads in the Housing category. Ads must be declared, and targeting is limited. You cannot target by age, gender, or ZIP code. Location targets need at least a 15-mile radius, and lookalike audiences are not available. Mortgage lenders work under similar limits, covered on our mortgage social media ads page.

This changes how campaigns are built. Medicare and final expense ads, for example, can no longer target older adults by age. We rely on clear creative that speaks to the right life stage and on lead form questions that confirm fit.

Your state insurance department also has advertising rules. Many states require your agency name and license details in ads, and all states ban misleading statements about coverage or price. Some carriers require approval of ads that use their name. We build review time for all of this into the schedule.

03

Facebook Ads for Insurance Agents: Lead Forms and Consent

Most insurance leads come from Meta's instant forms. These forms are fast to fill out, which is good for volume but not always for quality. We add questions about coverage type, current carrier, and renewal date. We use the higher intent form option when quality drops.

If you plan to call or text leads using an autodialer or prerecorded messages, the TCPA requires proper consent. We add consent language that names your agency, and we send each lead's consent details to your CRM. Your counsel should approve the final wording.

Speed matters too. We connect forms to your CRM or agency management system so your team can call within minutes.

Budget, Pricing, and Reporting

Management starts at $1,000 a month. Ad spend on Meta is billed by us, separate from the fee. Agencies licensed in several states can run separate campaigns per state, which adds setup work. For creative, we edit short agent videos that explain a coverage question from clips you record on your phone.

We report cost per lead, contact rate, quote rate, and bound policies where you share that data. Bound policies and retention are the real measure. We will not promise a set cost per lead or close rate, since those depend on your market, carriers, and follow-up.

More on our account approach is on the Facebook and Meta ads page. Our main paid social agency page explains our full service. For organic posts that build trust between renewals, see our insurance social media marketing page.

  • Month to month

No long contract. You can stop with 7 days' written notice, and your website, data and content stay yours.

Your own leads are exclusive, so you are not racing other agents. They take more work to set up and need a test budget. Many agencies run both while they compare cost per bound policy.

Not by age on Meta, since insurance ads fall under the financial special ad category. We reach the right audience through creative, timing, and lead form questions instead. Our financial advisor social media ads page covers the same category for advisors.

It depends on your state. Many states require agency name and license details in ads. We follow your state's rules and your carrier's guidelines.

As fast as you can. Interest drops quickly after someone fills out a form. We set up instant alerts and CRM sync so your team gets each lead right away.

Yes, within your carrier's marketing rules. Many captive carriers have approved templates or vendors, so we check what is allowed before building anything.
