An explainer video answers one question: what is this, and why should I care? Most run one to two minutes. They sit on a homepage, a product page, a sales email or the start of a pitch.

Good explainers focus on one problem and one solution. They skip long feature lists. A viewer should be able to repeat the main point after watching once.

They work well for products that are new, hard to picture or easy to misunderstand, such as software, financial products and services with many steps. If buyers can see your product working in a quick demo, a short screen-recorded product demo may serve you better.

Step 1: Discovery. We talk with you and, if possible, a few customers or sales reps about the questions buyers ask. Step 2: Script. We write to a natural speaking pace and read the script aloud to check timing. You approve it before design starts.

Step 3: Style frames and storyboard. You see the look, then every scene as a sketch. Step 4: Voiceover. You record the narration with our guidance, or approve a synthetic voice, and we fit it to the timing. Step 5: Animation, sound design and music. Step 6: Review rounds and delivery in widescreen, square and vertical formats, with captions.

Ask to see scripts and storyboards, not just finished videos. Ask how many revision rounds are included and what counts as a revision. Ask who owns the final files, the illustrations and the source project.

Check that the company understands your buyer. A good studio will push back when a script tries to say too much. Be wary of fixed templates that make your video look like everyone else's.
