Real Estate Reputation Management

Sellers interview two or three agents, and before each listing appointment they search the agent's name. Real estate reputation management shapes what they find: reviews on Zillow, Google and Realtor.com, your social profiles, your brokerage page and anything older or less flattering that still ranks for your name.

Key takeaways

  • In real estate the agent's personal name is searched more than the brokerage, so manage both.
  • The best moment to ask for a review is shortly after closing, while the relief of the move is fresh.
  • A deal that fell apart can produce an angry review, and the reply should stay general and kind.
01

What a Seller Sees When They Search You

Type an agent's name into Google and the results usually mix a Zillow profile, a brokerage bio, a Facebook page, maybe a Realtor.com listing and sometimes an old news mention or a profile from a previous brokerage with outdated contact details. Reviews are split across all of them, so an agent with a strong record can look thin on every single site.

Teams have a different problem. Reviews often name the team lead even when a buyer's agent did the work, or land on a personal profile that leaves with an agent who changes brokerages.

02

Reputation Management for Realtors, in Practice

We set up a process that fits a transaction calendar instead of a store's daily traffic.

  • Closing-Day Ask

A personal message a few days after closing, with links to the two profiles that matter most for your market.

  • Past Client Reminders

A gentle request to past buyers and sellers who never left a review, sent through real estate email marketing.

  • Profile Consistency

Matching photos, bios, license details and service areas across Zillow, Google, Realtor.com and your brokerage page.

  • Name Search Plan

Current, accurate pages and profiles to give searchers better results, supported by personal reputation management.

  • Reply Drafts

Responses that thank clients without revealing anything about their sale, price or finances.

03

Handling a Review From a Deal That Did Not Close

Financing falls through, inspections go badly and sellers blame the person closest to them. A public reply should acknowledge the disappointment, avoid any detail about the other party, the price or the contract, and offer a direct conversation. Your state's license law and the advertising rules your brokerage follows also apply to what you post, so we plan replies around them with your broker.

If a review was posted by someone who was never a client, we can report it through the platform's own process. The platform decides, and we never promise removal.

04

What Working With Us Costs

Real estate reputation work is billed monthly, starting at $1,000 a month. Plans run month to month without a minimum term and end with 7 days' written notice, which helps agents whose volume rises and falls with the market. A one-time profile cleanup and name search audit is quoted as a fixed price in writing.

Your CRM and any review tools are billed by their providers. Your profiles, website and content stay yours, including when you move brokerages.

05

Where Reputation Meets Your Marketing

Reviews give your listings and ads credibility. We use them in real estate social media marketing, on your site and in local search through SEO for real estate agents. The full picture is on our real estate marketing page. The full service is listed under reputation management.
