Brewery Marketing for Taprooms and Brands
Our brewery marketing helps taprooms, brewpubs and packaging breweries fill seats, sell out releases and support distribution. Craft beer drinkers follow new releases, events and the people behind the beer. We build your marketing around that, and keep every ad within federal, state and platform alcohol rules.

Key takeaways
- Meta and Instagram ads target adults of legal drinking age within a realistic drive and use your own photos and clips.
- Posts that feature specific retailers are reviewed against your state's tied-house rules before they go out.
- Each release gets a kit with a teaser post, an email, a product page, event listings and a recap.
Three Businesses Under One Roof
Most breweries run more than one business. The taproom needs local visitors, regulars and private events. A brewpub also sells food and competes with restaurants. Packaged beer needs retail placement and drinkers who look for it on the shelf.
Each part has a different buyer. Taproom guests decide on the day, often from a phone search or an Instagram post. Retail buyers and distributors care about sell-through and support. Beer club members want early access and limited releases.
We plan each part separately, then tie them together so a release, an event and a retail push support each other.
Getting People Into the Taproom
Taproom traffic is local, so the basics carry a lot of weight. Our local marketing service handles listings and search, and we add brewery-specific work.

We keep your tap list current on Untappd and your website so drinkers know what is pouring.

Trivia, live music, run clubs and release parties listed on your site, social pages and local event sites.
Email and SMS

A clear page and inquiry form for parties, rehearsal dinners and company outings.
Alcohol Advertising Rules We Follow
Beer ads are regulated at several levels. Federal TTB rules govern malt beverage advertising. They require certain identifying information and bar misleading statements, including health claims. Industry codes from the Beer Institute and the Brewers Association ask brewers to place ads where most of the audience is of legal drinking age. They also discourage content that appeals to minors or promotes excessive drinking.
State laws add more. Tied-house laws limit what a brewery can do for the bars and stores that carry its beer, including some joint promotions. Some states restrict price promotions, such as Massachusetts' ban on happy hour discounts. We check your state's rules before running offers.
Platforms have their own policies. Meta requires alcohol ads in the US to target people 21 and older. Google allows alcohol ads in the US but bans targeting minors and certain claims.
Paid Social and Search for a Brewery
Meta and Instagram ads work well for releases, events and new taproom openings. We target adults 21 and older within a realistic drive and use your own photos and clips of real pours, real people and the space. Short video of a brew day or a can release often beats polished stock photos.
Google search ads catch people looking for breweries or things to do nearby, especially visitors from out of town. We schedule ads around your open hours and big event days.
Budgets are usually modest. We spend where intent is clear and use organic social and email for everything else.
Releases, Seasons and Festivals
Brewery calendars run on releases. Seasonal beers such as summer lagers, Oktoberfest styles and winter stouts each need a plan. So do anniversary parties, collaboration brews and limited bottle drops.
We build a release kit for each one: a teaser post, an email, a product page, event listings and a recap. Beer festivals, football season, patio season and the winter holidays shape the rest of the year. Slow months are a good time for trivia nights, beer club pushes and review building.
Distribution Support, Pricing and Limits
For packaged beer, we build a beer finder on your site and support distributors with sell sheets and launch content. Posts that feature specific retailers are reviewed against your state's tied-house rules first.
Programs start at $1,000 a month. Release and opening campaigns get a fixed quote in writing. Ad spend is paid to the platforms separately. Cost depends on the number of locations, release frequency, content volume and ad budget. We will not promise taproom traffic or case sales. Wineries can see our winery marketing page, and brewpubs may also find our restaurant marketing page useful. For all our services, visit our digital marketing agency page.

Yes, within Meta's alcohol policy. Ads must target people 21 and older in the US and follow local laws. We set age targeting and review creative before every launch.
It depends on your state. Tied-house laws limit some kinds of retailer promotion by producers. We check your state's rules before featuring accounts.
Many breweries use one, and industry codes encourage age confirmation on brewer websites. It is a simple way to show your marketing is aimed at adults.
Programs start at $1,000 a month. A single taproom with a modest event schedule needs far less than a brewery with several locations and wide distribution. We quote in writing after a short call.
